1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cyber Shikshaa platform, including our website, booking system, mentorship sessions, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using Cyber Shikshaa, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Services Description

Cyber Shikshaa provides 1-on-1 cybersecurity mentorship, career roadmapping, resume and interview preparation, and advisory sessions. Session details, durations, deliverables, and fees are listed on the platform at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service or feature at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect active bookings.

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our Services. By booking a session, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Bookings, Payments, and Scheduling

• Booking confirmation: A session is confirmed only after you complete the booking flow and, where applicable, we receive successful payment confirmation.
• Payment processing: Payments are processed through Razorpay. By completing a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms and privacy policies in addition to ours.
• Accuracy: You are responsible for providing accurate contact, payment, and scheduling information. We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect details provided by you.
• Free sessions: Free sessions are subject to availability and weekly caps. We reserve the right to limit the number of free sessions per user.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds

• Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund of the session fee.
• Late cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session, or failure to attend without notice (“no-show”), may not be refunded at our discretion.
• Rescheduling: You may request to reschedule a session at least 24 hours in advance, subject to mentor availability.
• Refund method: Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment instrument within the timeframe specified by Razorpay and your bank.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, abuse, or discriminate against mentors, staff, or other users.
• Share unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content during sessions.
• Attempt to circumvent platform security, access restricted areas, or disrupt services.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the platform without authorisation.
• Record, distribute, or publish session content without explicit written consent.

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these rules.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Cyber Shikshaa platform — including cybersecurity roadmaps, session materials, templates, text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by Cyber Shikshaa or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Mentorship deliverables such as personalised roadmaps and resume guidance are provided for your individual, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of any materials or information you submit to us, but you grant us a limited licence to use that information solely to deliver the Services you requested.

8. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of information shared during mentorship sessions. Likewise, you agree not to disclose confidential information about Cyber Shikshaa, its mentors, or other users that you learn through the platform, except as required by law.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Cyber Shikshaa is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for accuracy, our mentorship content is educational and advisory in nature and does not constitute professional legal, financial, or employment advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyber Shikshaa and its affiliates, mentors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific session giving rise to the claim, or ₹1,000 if no payment was made.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cyber Shikshaa, its affiliates, officers, mentors, and employees from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
